It could stay there, and you could keep on wondering... Or you could swap it! Bring any and all clothes and house hold items that you think would be happier in a new home, and swap them for something new-to-you. |

Wasted (Film)

THE STORY OF FOOD WASTE aims to change the way people buy, cook, recycle, and eat food. Through the the eyes of chef-heroes like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura, and Danny Bowien, audiences will see how the world’s most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. WASTED! exposes the criminality of food waste and how it’s directly contributing to climate change and shows us how each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century. Q&A Panel Discussion to be followed! Featured speakers: Arianna - Instructor of Landscape Architecture Department and the Manager of Student Farm at Rutgers Gardens, Coordinator of Volunteered Supported Agriculture Dr. Ethan Schoolman- Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Ecology, Dr. Schoolman’s research centers on the environmental and social dimensions of local, regional and alternative food systems. Dr. Jill Lipoti - Assistant Teaching Professor, at the Dept. of Human Ecology, Dr. Lipoti runs the Minor in Sustainability and teaches courses on food systems and sustainability. Dinner is provided. Recommended to bring your own water bottle, utensils, etc. |
